The name
Praetax joins the classical roots of the Praetor — the leader who commands the front line — with the raw energy of Audax, the bold and courageous. Threaded through the seam is Aurum: the gold, worked subtly into the name itself, and into everything we make.
The work
We are a technology studio. We write software, we make games, and we build tools — the Roman in us is aesthetic, not method. What carries over from the ancients is the posture: lead from the front, and do the brave thing well.
The rule
Fearless by design. We do not follow industry trends, and we do not play it safe. Every project we take on is something we believe should exist — built with conviction, finished with craft.
